"The weather was fine and fair."

A.G. Little began to record the daily events of his farm and family in 1888, when he was 21 years old. He continued until 1917, filling eight journals. This excerpt from August 9, 1898, includes churning butter and repairing a harness in the morning and a trip to town with his wife in the afternoon. Journal entries often included descriptions of the weather. On this day, the weather was fine and fair.
